A fashion and advertising photographer with a unique a personal style, Bonnie Hansen thrives in the theatrics of photography and motion. Whilst Bonnie’s style is cinematic, strong, direct and dramatic, her signature blend of colourful, conceptual imagery gives every photo she produces that intangible, special touch.
“I absolutely loved the 90s,” explains Bonnie, who credits George Michael’s, Too Funky video as one of her driving inspirations. “The supermodel era, the showmanship of that decade was really fun. And I love the incredible work by such photographers as Helmut Newton, Guy Bourdin and David LaChapelle, for them every photograph tells an exaggerated story and that is something I aspire to.”
On a personal level, Bonnie is driven by shooting powerful women and beautiful clothes. She’s proud to be working amongst a cohort of incredible female photographers. “We Rule!”, laughs Bonnie when asked to describe the current female talent within the industry.
Bonnie’s client list is extensive and loyal – from L’Oreal to Alice McCall to Bellini shoes to Napolean – clients return time and time again to benefit from Bonnie’s distinct style and passion.
